Hi there 🙂 CJ here. Thank you for your trust in Hollywood Makeup School. We understand that learning a new skill can be overwhelming. And permanent makeup is a skill that takes time to develop. Firstly, we would like you to start your education on Color Theory. One of THE MOST important theories in permanent makeup. So, please watch these videos over and over.

Please use these link provided below to watch the first video. It would take only about 50 mins. But please please please watch them again and again until you comprehend everything. We will discuss it more during class.

Moving on to the second part. This time, we will focus mainly on color theory for just eyebrow permanent makeup, including color correction. If you get confused, don’t worry. Watch it again. Or write down your questions. We will discuss when we meet in class.

Next up, it’s all about skin and client’s contra-indications. Not everyone is a candidate for permanent makeup. This video is about 33 mins.

As you might already know, Nano Brow (machine hair stroke) is the future of eyebrow permanent makeup. Eventually, as many expert believe, microblading will eventually be obsolete. So, in the next three videos, we will be focusing on your journey to perfecting your Nano Brow technique.

This next video is an introduction to shading technique. Please watch the video and practice along as much as you can before class. the more practice you have using a pen or pencil, it easier it will be for you to learn how to use the actual machine.

This next video will show you how to set up your procedure tray. You don’t have to watch this right now. But you will need to watch this video before the last day of class where we will be practicing on live models.
